Key appointment: National Business Finance Manager

 

AMP is delighted to confirm the placement of Danielle Main in the newly created role of National Business Finance Manager. Previously our Area Manager South – Distribution, Danielle has been a member of the AMP family for five years.

 

Including her time at AMP, Danielle has an extensive 24 years of experience spanning mortgage broking and financial planning and it’s evident she possesses a deep understanding of the financial landscape. Danielle’s passion for small to medium businesses underscores her commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial growth. Her leadership skills shine through in her ability to build and lead teams, fostering an environment where individuals thrive. Danielle’s influence in driving change within the Mortgage Brokering and Financial Planning industry marks her as a true catalyst for innovation and progress.

 

What is the Business Finance loan?

 

The Business Finance Loan enables advisers and brokers to use their current and/or future ongoing reoccurring revenue as security, so they can grow their business.

 

We can provide finance for:

  1. Acquiring or merging businesses
  2. Employees may borrow to buy into the business for succession planning or equity purposes
  3. A line of credit (may be considered for working capital management), and more.

We’re phasing out cheques

Cheque usage has significantly declined with an increasing number of Australians moving towards faster and more secure payment methods. We are making some changes to our cheque services in line with the national approach to phase out cheques in Australia.

 

Key dates

  • 11 May 2024 – from 11 May 2024 we will no longer issue bank cheques
  • 27 May 2024 – from 27 May 2024 customers who have an AMP Bank issued bank cheque in their possession will need to contact us on 13 30 30 to arrange to have it paid into a nominated bank account.
  • 24 November 2024 - From 24 November 2024, we will no longer accept for deposit, personal cheques or cheques issued by other financial institutions.

I’m Danielle Main and I am a National Business Finance Manager.

Danielle’s extensive knowledge and experience is complimented by her ‘can do’ attitude and her passion for the Mortgage Broking industry so that she can ensure clients receive the right debt advice. Danielle has a hard working and practical approach to her work which is evident in the outcomes she has achieved over her career.

 

Danielle believes she is an ethical person and leader who is a key influencer of change. She delivers results by designing and implementing good ideas. A key strength she has is in building great teams, allowing them to perform well and achieve their personal best. Above all, Danielle values passion and authenticity and she herself demonstrates this in the way she works with others every day!
